How to Find the Materials You Need

Searching for Materials

Not sure where to begin? Looking for a specific topic or skill?

Here are ways to search for materials in the Everyday Speech platform:

  • Home Page:  On the home page, you will find:

      • Upcoming sessions

      • Recently viewed materials

      • My Playlists

      • Everyday Speech Playlists (a great starting point for new users!)

      • Featured Goals or Materials

    • Search Bar:  Enter any keyword related to the content you need. You will see suggestions with their format (video, activity, game, or EDS world) and age range.

    If you don't find what you're looking for, click the 'Browse All Materials' button at the bottom of the search results. This will show all our materials, which can be filtered by skill, age, and material type.

    • Curriculum view:  You can also browse our curriculum to find the materials you need. Choose from:

      • Mindfulness Materials

    Our mindfulness materials include guided breathing, stretching, and meditation videos. These resources help students focus on the present moment, reduce stress, and build self-awareness. Simply select age range to view relevant materials.



      • Intervention Materials (Tier 2 + 3 supports)

    The Intervention Materials are organized by skill.  To find the materials you need, follow these steps:

        1. Select your age range to view relevant materials.
        2. Browse the available skills that match your needs.
        3. Choose a skill to see the associated Goals.
        4. Explore the Goals, which are divided into Units.
        5. Pick a Unit and get started!

      • Whole Class Lessons (Tier 1 + 2 supports)

    The Whole Class Lessons are organized by grade. Follow the lessons for each grade in chronological order. To find the materials you need, follow these steps: 

        1. Select a grade.
        2. Pick a Unit.
        3. Choose a lesson.
        4. Follow the lesson content  in chronological order to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
