Finding the materials you need

This article is intended for those using the new Everyday Speech experience. If you are using the older version of Everyday Speech, please see here.

Not sure where to start? Looking for a particular topic or skill? Here are the ways you can search for materials in the Everyday Speech curriculum:

Home Page

The home page will show you:

  • Upcoming sessions
  • Recently viewed materials
  • My Playlists
  • Everyday Speech playlists (this can be a great starting point for new users!)
  • Featured goals or materials

Search bar

Type in any keyword related to the content you need, and you will be shown suggestions accompanied by their format (video, activity, game, or EDS world) and age range.

If you don't see what you're looking for, at the bottom of the Search results is the "Browse All Materials" button. Click this to see all our materials, which can be filtered further by skill, age, and material type.

Curriculum view

You can also browse our curriculum to find the materials you need. You can choose between Mindfulness Materials, Intervention Materials (tier 2 + 3 supports), and Whole Class Lessons (tier 1 + 2 supports) depending on your needs.

The Intervention Materials are organized by skill. First, select your age range to be shown relevant materials in the curriculum, then browse the available skills. Once you choose a skill that fits your needs, you will then be shown Goals associated with that skill. Goals are further broken down into Units. Pick a Unit and get started!

The Whole Class Lessons are organized by grade, and the lessons for each grade are intended to be followed in chronological order.
