Do you have an iPad app?

The Everyday Speech mobile app will be retired on July 31st, 2025. After that date, the app will no longer function. To avoid disruption, we recommend using the web version of Everyday Speech in the browser on your mobile device.

Why are we retiring the mobile app?

Over time, we’ve seen that most of our users prefer using Everyday Speech on the web—and app usage has remained low. At the same time, many of our most impactful features and updates, like our new integrated experience, Session Planning, and Progress Tracking features are not available in the app. Rather than continuing to support a limited version, we’re focusing on creating a fully responsive, mobile-friendly web experience that gives you complete access to our best features—no matter what device you’re using. This shift allows us to improve the platform faster and make sure you always have the best tools at your fingertips.

What should I use instead?

Use Everyday Speech in your device’s web browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, etc.). By July 31 our mobile-responsive web experience will be optimized to feel like a dedicated app—no downloads needed.

Is the browser version user friendly enough to still utilize on my phone/iPad/student iPad?

Yes! We’ve made big improvements to the web experience to make it easier to use on mobile devices, iPads, and anywhere you can access a browser.

I already have the app downloaded. Will it stop working on July 31, 2025?

Yes, the app will be officially deprecated on July 31, 2025, and will no longer function after that date. We recommend using your device’s web browser to continue accessing all of our lessons and resources. If you need help making the transition, our support team is here to assist you.

Can I download videos for offline use on the web version?

No, the web version does not support downloading videos for offline use. To access our content, you'll need an internet connection.

Will there be a mobile app in the future?

A new mobile app is not out of the question, but is not currently planned. For now, we’re putting all resources into making the browser experience first-class on every screen size.

How do I log in on mobile now without the app?

Open your browser, visit slp.everydayspeech.com and log in with the same email and password you’ve always used. We recommend bookmarking the page for easy access.

Do I need to do anything to switch to the browser version?

Nothing special—just log in through your browser with the same email and password.
