What student data is collected by Everyday Speech?
"We...retain information made available to us by teachers or school systems, to enable them to record and recall information about Everyday Speech content that has been made available to their students. Everyday Speech does not mandate the form of the information provided, and we cannot determine whether student names or other identifiable information will be provided. This information is maintained solely as a convenience for the teacher or school system, and is not otherwise used by us or shared with third parties."
Additionally, our Platform is designed to optionally provide subscribers the ability to input the following:
1. Student first name
2. Student last initial only
No student generated content is stored on our Platform, nor do we collect student emails, health records, or any other PII (Personal Identifiable Information).
If your school district requires a signed DPA in order to utilize Everyday Speech, please email the appropriate documentation to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be more than happy to assist you!
