Is Everyday Speech right for my students?

We recommend that learners have a strong understanding of language, in order for them to follow any social skills/social-emotional curriculum. Our videos and printable activities contain dialogue/language that is required for students to maximize the benefits of our platform. 

 

A good rule of thumb is that children who show an interest in people and an interest in interacting can benefit from a social skills curriculum. Those who do not show very much interest in friendship or people, due to the severity of their diagnosis, or type of diagnosis, do not make therapeutically efficacious gains.

 

We understand the diverse nature of caseloads means not every piece of content we put out is going to be applicable to everyone. That said, we have a huge library of content, with items specifically created for all different age groups, ranging from Kindergarten through High School.
