Playlists (previously Saved Lists)
Playlists allow you to organize and save materials for easy access. This guide will walk you through creating, accessing, saving, printing, and sharing playlists effectively.

Creating Your Playlist
To create a playlist, search our collection of videos, games, and activities to find content you like.
Once you find content you want to save, follow these steps:
- Click the 'Save to Playlist' button located below the content preview.
- A slide-up modal will appear. You can either save the content to an existing playlist or create a new one. To create a new playlist, click the '+ Add to new playlist' option.
- In the lightbox, enter a descriptive name for your new playlist to help you identify its contents later.
- After entering the name, click the 'Create Playlist' button.
Note: Playlist name field is required and cannot be created when left blank.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear, letting you know that your content has been saved to the new playlist. You can choose to open the playlist or close the pop-up.
Accessing Your Playlists
Follow these steps to access your playlists:
- Go to 'My Toolkit' in the blue navigation bar of the Social Emotional Learning Platform dashboard and select 'Playlists' from the dropdown menu.
- You will see the Playlists page, where you can choose from your created playlists, 'My Playlists', or explore our curated playlists, 'EverydaySpeechPlaylists'.
- After selecting a playlist, you will be directed to the selected playlist detail page.
- To return to the All Playlists page, click the 'Back to All Playlists' button in the top left corner, just below the blue navigation bar.
Saving Materials to a Playlist
To save content to a playlist, follow these steps:
- Click the 'Save to Playlist' button located below the material preview.
- A slide-up modal will appear, letting you save the content to an existing playlist or create a new one. Scroll through your existing playlists and select one.

A confirmation pop-up will appear, confirming that your content has been saved to the selected playlist. You can choose to open the playlist or dismiss the prompt.
You can also add content to a playlist from the 'Browse All Materials' page .

Go to the 'Browse All Materials' page from the Homepage.

Click 'Material Actions' button on the right side of the material listed.

Select the 'Save to Playlist' option to open the 'Save Material to Playlist' lightbox.

Check the box next to your selected playlist, then click the 'Save to Existing' button.

Note: Saving a material that is already in your playlist will prompt an error message.

A success message with a check icon will appear, confirming that the content has been successfully added to your existing playlist.
- To save to a new playlist, enter a name for your new playlist, and click 'Create new playlist' button.
- A success message with a check icon will appear, confirming that the content has been successfully added to your newly created playlist.
Printing Your Playlist
To print a playlist, follow these steps:

Click on My Toolkit in the blue navigation bar, and click Playlists.

Select a Playlist and click 'Export as PDF'

Downloaded PDF will open on the next tab, and print it as you normally would.
Sharing a Playlist with Colleagues
To share a playlist with your colleagues, do the following:

Click on My Toolkit in the blue navigation bar, and click Playlists.

Select a Playlist and click 'Share with Colleagues'

Click 'Copy Link' and paste the link into a correspondence to your colleague, or click 'Email' to directly send an email to your colleague.
- Your colleague will need an Everyday Speech account to be able to view the shared link. If they do not have an account, we recommend using the previous step to export the PDF instead.
