Session Planning will be retired

On July 20, 2026, the Session Planning feature will no longer be  available in the Everyday Speech Platform. Here is what is changing and what you can do instead.

In this article:

What is changing and why

The Session Planning feature let you group materials into a named list, assign students, and attach a date and time for planning. We will be retiring it to make way for our new ready-to-run sessions, which turn our intervention materials into clinically-informed teaching sessions.

What you can do instead

  • To organize materials: Save and group materials using Playlists, available in My Toolkit. Playlists let you organize materials by student, goal, or theme.
  • To teach a structured session: Go to Curriculum > Intervention Materials and open any goal. Each unit now contains ready-to-run sessions with a warm-up, discussion prompts, practice activities, and more, with no prep required.

What happened to your session data
